Rumbo Maps posting terms

Version 1 · effective 3 October 2026. For reviews and place boards in the Rumbo Maps app.

Rumbo Maps has its own reviews and a board for each place on the map. Reading them needs nothing. Writing needs a NEXUS account and your agreement to these terms, which the app shows before your first review or post. They are short on purpose: they exist so that a review means a real visit and a board stays a place people want to read.

In short

  1. Write about a real visit, in your own words.
  2. Be decent: no harassment, threats, hate or sexual content.
  3. Leave other people's private details out.
  4. No ads, spam or anything illegal.
  5. Flag what breaks these terms; block anyone you do not want to read.

1. Honest reviews

2. What may not be posted

3. What is public

A review (its stars and words) and a board post are public to every Rumbo Maps reader, under your NEXUS username. Never your full name or your email. You can remove your own review or post at any time. Deleting your NEXUS account deletes every review, post and flag of it. The privacy policy says exactly what the server keeps.

4. Flagging

Every review and post written by someone else has a Flag button. Choose why (spam, offensive, not a real visit, not about this place, something else). When three different accounts flag the same review or post, it is hidden from Rumbo at once, before anyone looks at it. We review what is flagged and act on anything that breaks these terms, normally within 24 hours.

5. Blocking

Every review and post written by someone else also has a Block button. Blocking a person hides everything they write from your boards, on your phone. They are not told. The list of people you blocked stays on your phone and is never sent to us. Settings → Reviews & boards → Blocked people shows the list, and unblocking is one tap.

6. What we do

7. Report something or ask

To report content that needs attention right away, or to ask about a decision about your post or account, write to alfredo@atxnexus.com. Say which place and which post.

8. Changes

If these terms change in substance, the version number goes up and the app asks you to agree again before your next post. What you posted before stays under the terms you agreed to then.
